The Durant Family | Portrait Photography
As December is just around the corner, it’s time to think about ordering photo cards to spread the holiday cheer with family and friends, especially when you have an adorable new addition to the family who will soon be celebrating his first Christmas.
This was exactly the case for Matt and Jackie, and I was super excited when they asked if I’d be able to do baby Ryan’s first official photoshoot.
Keeping the holiday theme in mind, we started the session by turning Ryan’s nursery into a mini Christmas studio: santa hats, ornaments, stockings, white lights and all. I especially liked that he dressed for the occasion in his red flannel. At just three months, this little guy has got style!
I then snapped a few family shots outside so that, in the future, the Durant family can reminisce about their first home as a party of three — or four. (Can’t forget about George, the orange cat!)

Jenna – Thank you so much for the amazing family pictures! Even though our little buddy was in a cranky mood, all the shots came out great. We can’t wait to get a few framed and send out our Christmas cards!! You made the experience so easy and we look forward to future sessions – hopefully next time Ryan won’t be able to stop smiling!
