Amy + Chris | Concord, MA Fall Engagement Session
These two tried to fool me into thinking they were ‘awkward’ in front of the camera, but once you see these photos…well, you’ll agree that they couldn’t have been more wrong about that.
Not only was this one of my favorite engagement sessions yet, it was a really special day all around. I initially spoke to Amy and Chris about shooting their October wedding a few years ago, but after Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer, they were forced to push the date back while she recovered. She is now doing better than ever, and the tiny silver lining here is that we were actually able to make the fall engagement session she had hoped for the year prior happen on what was their original wedding date. Talk about timing, right? All the feels!
We spent the day in Concord with amazing foliage all around, but what was most beautiful to me was witnessing the love that these two share. Though it was a tough year, it was quite clear that having each other by their sides was all they needed to get through it together. If the sun didn’t go down when it did, I would have never let them leave!
Amy and Chris, THANK YOU for letting me tell your story and for being so incredibly great and perfect for each other. I am counting down the days until your wedding in May! Here are some of my favorites until then:

Jeanna….where do I begin? Thank you so much for a fantastic day. Your warm and friendly personality made me love you from the start and now I want to be your best friend! Seriously though, I am so happy we did the engagement session for so many reasons but the main one is that I’m even more excited to share our wedding day with you and totally blown away by your ability to make us look good (ha!). You were so patient and made two people that hate having their picture taken enjoy and have fun with it by the end of the day. I could go on forever…thank you so much for the beautiful pictures, you did an amazing job in capturing our love for one another. I’m happy ranger rick didn’t ruin our day, so many great memories…pew pew!
Wow, Jenna! I have SO many favorites! Each picture I looked at I was like…ooooh, this is my favorite. Then a few pictures down, I was like no, THIS one is my favorite! I then came to the conclusion that they ALL were my favorites. What an eye you have! Congrats to the beautiful couple that made these pictures as good as they are!
